Renewable Energy Systems Talk

Renewable Energy Systems Q & A: Monday 21 January, Tenterden Club, 7 till 10pm

One of the members of Oxney Rural Business Group, Stephen Pockley, is an electrician who has become much involved with the issue of renewable energy systems in the UK. An issue close to all our hearts in terms of energy conservation, costs and affordable comfort.

Stephen has created a close working relationship with Earthandair Energy Ltd., and, with one of his colleagues, will be presenting some key facts and figures about the renewable technologies that Earthandair install;

Heat Pumps (Ground Source or Air Source) - replace conventional boilers to provide energy efficient hot water and heating, via radiators or underfloor heating systems, by extracting energy from the ground, air or water.

Solar Photo-Voltaic (PV) - generating electricity from the power of the sun.

Solar Thermal - providing hot water, also using the sun's energy.

There will be a slide presentation and plenty of time for a Q and A session afterwards.

Free entry and cash bar.

Please come along and learn what you can do to make your home more energy-efficient.
